Kennery Belts First Career Home Run at George Mason!

Canisius sophomore Robin Kennery went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run and three RBIs as the Golden Griffins defeated George Mason 9-2 on the final day of the George Mason Cherry Blossom Classic in Fairfax, Va.
Kennery had a sacrifice fly early in the game and a key hit for her Griffs was the two-run homer, her first career home run!

The ball hit the left centerfield light pole. Congratulations to Robin who is having a great sophomore year.

Plimpton Sets Career Strikeout Record With Saints!

March 2013: St. Lawrence University sophomore pitcher set the program record for career strikeouts as the Saints earned a sweep on Monday evening in Clermont, FL. St. Lawrence, which improved to 4-2 on the season, topped Westfield St. in the first game 4-1 before downing Franciscan in five innings, 16-1.

Entering the day seven strikeouts shy of the career record, Plimpton set the new bar in the fourth inning against Westfield, passing the previous record-holder Rachel Duffany's mark of 194. The Williamsville, NY native earned her second win of the season, allowing four hits, no earned runs, and finishing with 11 strikeouts total.
